After four years writing, editing and researching in the University of Toronto's challenging Philosophy program, I'm looking forward to putting my skills to work. I have a broad range of experiences that have brought me to where I am, including working as a feelance web developer, writing software reviews, and editing more literature essays than I could possibly count. This collection of experiences has given me valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities of both written language and the internet technology, which make me ideally suited for writing and editing in this new medium.
As a web developer and designer, I repeatedly saw many well-designed, flawlessly coded websites flounder because their owners failed to recognize that one timeless rule: content is king. Frustrated by my limited ability to affect a website's success through design alone, I have instead decided to focus on writing and editing for the web, because the internet deals in content, not design.
